Respect and Resolution conference rescheduled

Due to popular demand, that our conference, Respect and Resolution: From Policy to Practice, has been rescheduled. We will now host the conference on Thursday 25 May 2023 to ensure the event spans 2022/23 and 2023/24 budget streams.

Taking place at Sandy Park, Exeter, our daylong conference will feature invaluable advice and inspiration from a range of employers and employees, ACAS, trade unions and human resources, all working to help you create safe and supportive workplaces in which your people can thrive and achieve.

The conference aims to give you the opportunity to review your existing policies, practices and cultures, and explore practical methods that will help you foster a workplace that is healthier, safer and more caring for all.

For more information about the conference, please contact Steve and Sarah at team@normalmagic.co.uk

ACAS received around 6,000 calls last year relating to workplace stress. The words “stress”, “mental health” and “depression” appeared in more than 12,000 early conciliation or employment tribunal changes.

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) says the risk of suicide is often highest in those under threat of disciplinary action or suspension, and that suicide can often be linked to workplace stress, bullying or harassment.
