With pencils sharpened and shoes polished, Steve and I headed down to Saunton Sands Hotel to join the Devon School Leaders Service for their Annual School Leadership Conference.

Called “Empowering Leadership”, the day certainly lived up to its name with a selection of the most inspiring school leaders in the county sharing insight, experiences and strategies for supporting our young people.

It was wonderful to hear just how many schools use our free resources in the classroom and to be surrounded by such inspirational professionals.

Our aim is to work collaboratively with school and mental health leaders to create a flexible, responsive and effective independent mental health service. Our work within education includes direct mental health care for students and families; support for designated mental health leads with their mental health strategies; staff training, staff consultation and supervision.

We never tire, we are always passionate and our door is always open.
